Marrakesh: and a tale of Moroccan decorating at Peacock Pavilions

I named it the Atlas Pavilion because it has a beautiful view of the snowy Atlas Mountains at 6 months a year.  But I think the interiors are memorable, too. I decorated the main salon with it's 22+ foot pyramid dome roof and catwalk with lots of color, using carpets, cushions and poufs with liberal abandon.  I carried each of the lanterns back from Egypt.

I kept the 2 bedrooms more neutral with shades of black, white, ivory, silver and gold. A beautiful wedding blanket on one bed.  A little bit glamorous (and perhaps romantic).

And then there are the details, of course.  My cat, Bizou (one of 5 cats roaming Peacock Pavilions) is convinced that the Atlas Pavilions are her domain.

I wasn't shy with pattern....

There are also 2 private rooftop terraces on the Atlas Pavilion.  Perfect for sipping mint tea, or perhaps a cocktail.

Perhaps you'd like to spend a few nights or a week here?   It's a special place -- entirely handmade with love. Especially perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and any other occasions to celebrate.  Learn more here.

PS If you can't make it to Morocco but would like a Moroccan touch at your place, take a peek at my Do Good Souk.   Many of my carpets and wedding blankets are on sale right now!
